District 108 House of Representatives John A. Torbett and his wife, Viddia stopped by Collision Safety Consultants to discuss consumer protection and the possibility of forming an over site committee or body shop regulations to hold shops accountable for improper repairs. We discussed the possibility of a bill to require certain guidelines or a license of some type that could be enforced. The meeting was extremely productive and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
What a nice surprise , when I got back from taping my Radio Show, Wayne Goodwin, our Commissioner of the NC Department of Insurance stopped by to visit & talk about insurance fraud and faulty repairs I’ve uncovered lately at body shops. We also discussed insurance company’s short pays on collision repair and diminished value claims. He always listens and gives me good feedback! He congratulated me and told me to keep up the good work. Thanks Wayne!
